       Yang Peng, also known as Yang Mingpeng, with the courtesy name Wenbo and the pseudonyms Qindao Ren, Zixia Yunli, and Tianyue Shanren, is a guqin performer and calligrapher and painter, He is currently the principal guqin performer of the China-Japan Classical Music Ensemble, a member of the Guangdong Association of Young Calligraphers and Painters, and a director of the Guangdong Shunde Collectors Association. He previously served as a distinguished professor at Guangdong University of Science and Technology, a distinguished lecturer at the Confucius Institute of Tokyo Institute of Technology, and a cultural lecturer at the Confucius Institute of Sakura International University.<\/h6>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Has been studying since the age of three<\/span>Chinese Painting<\/a><\/span>, due to<\/span>Jiangsu Provincial Artists Association<\/a><\/span>Painter Mr. Song Youyi began his artistic training, and later, through<\/span>Yun Zongying<\/a><\/span>Under the personal guidance of the elderly gentleman,<\/span>\u607d<\/span>\u4e3a<\/span>Qing Dynasty<\/a><\/span>Changshu School of Painting<\/span>Yun Nantian<\/a><\/span>Later generations, in turn,<\/span>Xu Beihong<\/a><\/span>As a student, his painting style was primarily realistic, incorporating elements of ink wash painting, and he gained much from this experience. Yun personally inscribed the following for him: \u201cTo Yang Peng, I wish you success,\u201d as an encouragement to future students. During high school, due to his outstanding talent in painting, Yang was recognized by the Republic of China\u2019s first female diplomat, Taiwan\u2019s<\/span>Qiong Yao<\/span>\u7684<\/span>Aunt<\/a><\/span>Yuan Xiaoyuan<\/span>The professor received him personally. Upon seeing his paintings, Mr. Yuan praised them highly, noting his natural talent for painting and predicting that he would surely achieve great things in the future and become a renowned painter. Overjoyed, he personally inscribed the following: \u201cI hope that the next time I return to my homeland, I will see a renowned painter whose name is\u2026\u201d<\/span>Yang Peng<\/span>... Professor Cai Zhijian inscribed the following: \u201cTo Yang Peng: Dedicate your life to the cause of art\u2014may this serve as an encouragement.\u201d<\/span><\/h1><\/span>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He earned his bachelor\u2019s degree from the Nanjing University of the Arts, majoring in Chinese painting. His instructor in flower-and-bird painting was Mr. Zhou Zhiqin, a disciple of Chen Dayu. His painting style is primarily ink-wash, and Yang was deeply influenced by him. In calligraphy, he has benefited from the guidance of Mr. Jin Dan and has gained a basic understanding of the art.<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After graduation, Mr. Zhou suggested that those wishing to further their studies in the arts might consider going abroad.<\/span>Japan<\/a><\/span>... Then, in 2010, he traveled to Japan and enrolled in the Faculty of Letters at Seijo University in 2012 to study Sino-Japanese relations.<\/span>Ink Painting<\/a><\/span>He conducted comparative research while pursuing his pre-doctoral studies under the guidance of Professor Masahiko Aizawa, a leading authority in Japan on the authentication and study of Kanto-style ink wash painting. After successfully completing his degree, he devoted many years to the authentication and research of ink wash painting. He also organized ink wash painting exhibitions as part of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange activities, which were warmly received by Japanese audiences.<\/span>In 2019, he returned to China and devoted himself to the study of Chinese painting theory and art history, publishing numerous academic papers that have contributed to the advancement of the arts.<\/div><\/span>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In 1999, I visited Suzhou<\/span>Wumen<\/span>A Leading Authority on Guqin Studies of the Second Generation of the Qin School<\/span>Wu Zhaoki<\/span>Under his tutelage, I studied the guqin and was personally designated as the third-generation successor of the Wu School of Guqin. While studying in Japan, I also served as a lecturer at the Confucius Institute at Tokyo Institute of Technology,<\/span>Sakura Meilin University<\/span>Cultural Instructor at the Confucius Institute, and<\/span>Guangdong University of Science and Technology<\/span>He holds several positions, including Distinguished Professor and Principal Guqin Performer of the Sino-Japanese Aoki Gakuen Music Ensemble. He has previously<\/span>Nerima Ward, Tokyo<\/span><\/font>Special guqin concerts were held at venues such as the Art Museum, the Okura Shikokan, Tokyo Sakura Morin University, and the Tokyo Institute of Technology, and were well-received by<\/span>Japan<\/span>In addition to receiving an enthusiastic welcome from audiences, he has also held special guqin lectures and solo concerts in many parts of the country, all of which have been met with unanimous acclaim.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/span>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
