Yang Peng<\/h3>\n

       Yang Peng, also known as Yang Mingpeng, with the courtesy name Wenbo and the pseudonyms Qindao Ren, Zixia Yunli, and Tianyue Shanren, is a guqin performer and calligrapher and painter, He is currently the principal guqin performer of the China-Japan Classical Music Ensemble, a member of the Guangdong Association of Young Calligraphers and Painters, and a director of the Guangdong Shunde Collectors Association. He previously served as a distinguished professor at Guangdong University of Science and Technology, a distinguished lecturer at the Confucius Institute of Tokyo Institute of Technology, and a cultural lecturer at the Confucius Institute of Sakura International University.<\/h6>\n

Painting Experience<\/h3>\n

Has been studying since the age of threeChinese Painting<\/a>, due toJiangsu Provincial Artists Association<\/a>Painter Mr. Song Youyi began his artistic training, and later, throughYun Zongying<\/a>Under the personal guidance of the elderly scholar, I, Yun,Qing Dynasty<\/a>Changshu School of PaintingYun Nantian<\/a>Later generations, in turn,Xu Beihong<\/a>As a student, his painting style was primarily realistic, incorporating elements of ink wash painting, and he gained much from this experience. Yun personally inscribed the following for him: \u201cTo Yang Peng, I wish you success,\u201d as an encouragement to future students. During high school, due to his outstanding talent in painting, Yang was recognized by the Republic of China\u2019s first female diplomat, Taiwan\u2019sAunt<\/a>Mr. Yuan Xiaoyuan received him personally. Upon seeing his paintings, Mr. Yuan praised them highly, noting his natural talent for painting and predicting that he would surely achieve great things in the future and become a renowned painter. Overcome with joy, Mr. Yuan personally inscribed the following for him: \u201cI hope that the next time I return to China, I will see a renowned painter named Yang Peng.\u201d Professor Cai Zhijian inscribed the following for him: \u201cTo Yang Peng, may you dedicate your life to the cause of art; may this serve as an encouragement.\u201d<\/h1>\n

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspHe earned his bachelor\u2019s degree from the Nanjing University of the Arts, majoring in Chinese painting. His instructor in flower-and-bird painting was Mr. Zhou Zhiqin, a disciple of Chen Dayu. His painting style is primarily ink-wash, and Yang was deeply influenced by him. In calligraphy, he has benefited from the guidance of Mr. Jin Dan and has gained a basic understanding of the art.<\/h2>\n

\t\t\t After graduation, Mr. Zhou suggested that those wishing to further their studies in the arts might consider going abroad.Japan<\/a>... Then, in 2010, he traveled to Japan and enrolled in the Faculty of Letters at Seijo University in 2012 to study Sino-Japanese relations.Ink Painting<\/a>He conducted comparative research while pursuing his pre-doctoral studies under the guidance of Professor Masahiko Aizawa, a leading authority on the authentication and study of Kanto-style ink wash painting in Japan. After successfully completing his studies, he devoted many years to the authentication and research of ink wash painting. During Sino-Japanese cultural exchange activities, he organized ink wash painting exhibitions that were warmly received by Japanese audiences. In 2019, he returned to China and immersed himself in the study of Chinese painting theory and art history, publishing numerous academic papers that have contributed to the advancement of the arts.\t\t<\/p>\n

My Experience with the Guqin<\/h3>\n

In 1999, he began studying the guqin under Mr. Wu Zhaochi, a second-generation master of the Wumen School of Guqin in Suzhou, and was personally designated by him as the third-generation successor of the Wumen School. While studying in Japan, he also served as a lecturer at the Confucius Institute at Tokyo Institute of Technology, a cultural lecturer at the Confucius Institute at Obirin University, and concurrently served as a lecturer at Guangdong University of Science and Technology.He holds several positions, including Distinguished Professor and Principal Guqin Performer of the Sino-Japanese Aoki Gakuto Music Ensemble. He previously lived in Nerima Ward, Tokyo<\/font>Special guqin concerts were held at venues such as art museums, the Okura Shikokan Museum, Tokyo Sakura Meirin University, and the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where they were warmly received by Japanese audiences. In addition, special guqin lectures and solo concerts were held in various locations across China, where they were met with unanimous acclaim.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0He has held solo guqin concerts at venues such as the Nerima Art Museum in Tokyo, the Okura Shukokan Museum, Sakura International University in Tokyo, and the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he was warmly received by Japanese audiences. In addition, during his visits back to China, he has held solo guqin lectures and recitals in various locations across the country, all of which have been met with unanimous acclaim.<\/p>\n
